I Like To Think I'm Pretty Unique

I wonder how you decide whether to watch/buy a movie? Do you have as same habit as me?
Since I don't keep myself frequently updated with recent movies, I always rely on online rating at IMDB or Rottentomatoes. Whether at the cinema or DVD store, I always have my phone ready accessing the webpage to check the rate of each movies - specially for those that don't have their chance to be in the cinema (well, Indonesian cinemas nowadays are specially airing the box office movies - based on my personal assumption, but somehow it's a serious matter when I found Noah isn't coming to Indonesia!).

So, that is how I found out about 'The Double' movie by Richard Ayoade starring Jesse Eisenberg (who I desperately fell into after his performance at 'Now You See Me'). I love thriller and suspense movie, thing that doesn't go into your mind easily, a movie which makes you frown most of the time, one which keeps your focus on and easily makes you sleepy when you're not really into it.

But actually The Double is merely a comedy, black comedy when I checked the genre but, surprisingly it contains some thrilling scene, mysterious theme which keeps you questioning "What is this about". If it's not about Eisenberg, I don't think I would save my time for this movie. But, above all, what made me excited to spend my 93 minutes is its doppelgänger theme.

Doppelgänger is about a twin - an unrelated twin, that you unexpectedly meet and suddenly it affects your entire life. I personally curious about this case in real life, is it really true? Is it possible for me to meet my unrelated twin in the future? LOL. Well, I often hear people's around me said "I've met a girl who looks like you." But I've never met her myself. HAHA!

But all in all, I was mesmerized by Jesse Eisenberg acting, he was just too cool! He can be a calm and innocent guy then drastically changed his personality to be an aggressive womanizer bad boy. Thumbs up! It's because of him this movie can be so catchy despite its coldness, retro ambiance.

And.. about this look, what makes this unique? Cause I, myself realize I'd look better with heels instead switched it to flats. But, still I'm happy since it still matches my petite proportion. Other reason, I'm still on my way to find heels fit me.

Any recommendation?
