Strolling along the Braga street, one of historical area in Bandung, in the evening always brings a lil kind of joy and fresh ambiance as for me. Yes, evening sounds right; because during the day and night, the street would be crowded and I'd lose the "nostalgic" feeling. I enjoy people activities during that time; so many photo sessions; from pra-wedding photoshoots until model-wannabe doing selfies. I love watching tourists, those art-deco styled buildings along the street and spoil my eyes with plenty of oil-paintings following my path.
I'm not a person who likes wearing make-up to begin with. Of course it will underline the fact that: I can't do make-up. But lately there are so many times when my friends (my close friends), my sisters (incl. sister-in-law and cousins), my moms and perhaps all the whole world start complaining the way I couldn't even put powder and foundation properly onto my face #sob. The way I don't even know how to use eyeshadow, eyeliner, even blush-on. I mean, is it really a must-have-skill for every girl? Well, gladly my bf accepts me just the way I am (love you, hun), but, still, it doesn't make me well-accepted in society. That's rude.
So, that's why I'm learning make-up now, guess I will post more pictures of my face in the future. Bf doesn't like this anyway but he's okay, I mean, maybe I would be able to do my own face on our wedding next 10 years, HAHA!
Today's review is about an eye-base. I've been using eyeshadow without base for so long. Back then, I was wondering why people could do a perfect and bold color on their eyes, ah, so this is their secret: an eyebase. I did quiet searching activities before deciding to buy one, read so many reviews about many brands; some are even adding my confusions, some were helping me a lot, thanks internet + bloggers!
Yes. It's Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Everyone who loves make-up knows this, even unexpectedly my auntie loves this brand a lot! I decided to buy this since female bloggers are bragging a lot about this product and how they feel satisfied with its long-last performance. Makes me wonder.

I always think that as a petite, I always have to wear high heels; which is lately I feel hurt on my toes. These days, I wear flats for my daily casual activities but still the main rules: I should care for what style of clothes I put on. It's not a big deal though, but during the hot weather and sun exposure I feel my feet also get burnt if I don't wear socks along with flats. Problem.
So now, I'm switching to my brand-new oxford shoes, which is... So crazily tempting. I love the dual-tone.
I thought wearing short-heels shoes would make me shorter, but the tips: always wear skinny pants, as for me.
What about you?

No matter what, I'm far from beautiful than Taeyeon, but still I want to try her make-up on Baby G- Kiss Promotion. She looks lovely and I was tempted to try her gradient eyeshadow.
I use three colors: pink, purple, and orange for the gradient.
So this is the look:
And some selcas:
Since I don't have slanted eyes like Taeyeon, I didn't lengthen the shadow, since it will make my face proportion weird. It's my first attempt, not a perfect one but I learned a lot from this look ^^
See you!

Hey!
Yes, so I'm still here, not giving up to join another Indonesian's Beauty Blogger (IBB) Make Up Challenge. And this month, the winner will get prize sponsored by Menard worth IDR 2,300,000 or around US$229! Definitely can't let this moment pass without me doing something. Lol!
Still, with my ultimate justification plus disclaimer: I'm still learning about doing makeup, moreover, do perfect cover perfectly. And, oh-no, this month's challenge is about creating Natural Glow make up. I've been searching here and there but my brain just couldn't learn as fast as I want to. So please bear with spam of noob piccies! Yay~
Look 1: Natural for Glam
So, I'm thinking to make an effortlessly look for a night occasion, perhaps when you're invited to a night party but have no time to add more make-up, but just simply enhance your face to a lil bit fresher.
Look 2: No Make-up Make-up
Since everyone's been doing this, so I copy! Lol. This is my first trial to do no make-up make-up look.
Still, I'm struggling hard to make a perfect coverage. Please forgive my intended-messy hair, I mean it #cough.
Wish me luck!
ps: if you're an Indonesian Blogger and you haven't made yours, you gotta be hurry, dear!

Back then, majority young people would say, wearing a Batik pattern cloth will make you look even older, and I was one. But now, since Batik has been officially an identity of Indonesia's art, I would say: 'm so proud of wearing Batik. And you, you must too! And if you visit Indonesia, I recommend you to collect a piece one or two, cause it's just unique, starting on how they draw and print it. It's so original.
Batik pattern always resembles nature; earth, land, that's why old Batik colors was dominantly by brown. But today, it's available with various range of color you can choose.
And I can combine it with my brown coat, it doesn't look old, I still feel young however.
This Batik is from Danar Hadi collection, I love its material, thin and soft yet, it matches my 's' size perfectly!
Ready to go!

I guess, Indonesia has so many myths regarding their each nature object. Like this one, unmarried couple shouldn't visit this waterfall together otherwise they'll separated, break up and might not get back together. But a myth just a myth. My old brother told me that he used to visit here with his girlfriend, yes, they ended having an on-off relationship, but hey, his girlfriend now is being my sister-in-law. They married now, regardless how many countless times they had visited this waterfall together. Well, believe or not, I kept my safe by coming there only with my brother and sis-in-law, left my bf somewhere, haha.
I was so excited to visit this waterfall, come to think of it, I've had lived in Malang for 18 years yet I had never been visited this one of popular waterfalls in East Java! Well, never mind. So during my trip back to Malang on last January '14, I've already had it in mind, I have to go there! That's quiet a determination.
Welcome to Wana Wisata Coban Rondo |
We got there after 2 hours journey from Malang for estimately 50km length from Malang, located in Desa Pandansari, Pujon, Malang regency. It wasn't difficult to get here since so many signs heading us to this destination. There will be a big gate welcoming you "Welcome to Wana Wisata Coban Rondo". Entry ticket is IDR 12,000.00/person, and car parking fee is IDR 3,000.00. Affordable, but to think that it was free back then, the ticket was quiet pricey, lol.
Cottages few km from the waterfall. |
The raindrops fell pretty hard but still the visitors wouldn't give up, though I sensed that they barely stayed for less than an hour during this weather. It became even colder! In fact we were in 1,135 above sea level! It was cold and how come I didn't bring my jacket, only wore a thin t-shirt and midi pants. Gosh.
Other than seeing waterfall, this tourist object is providing semi-rafting attractions, if you interested, you can go to the information booth to rent a big tire for you to sit on and do rafting. Pretty convenient.
Food stalls are everywhere, even if you forget to bring your umbrella, you can rent one from them. Hot roasted cassava, potato steak, and fruits are ready to serve your cold belly.
One of stalls with more complete food served. |
After passing the information booth and some stalls, we still had to walk for another 200 m to get exactly to the waterfall, there are monkeys everywhere, how cute! But I just didn't have the guts to take their picture, eventhough they are believed to be tame monkeys and visitors were fond to feed them.
walk for another 200 m |
I'm a person who pretty much concerned toward the healthy and clean toilets, but this tourist spot was quiet maintaining this facility, so I give them so kudos for this point.
Toilet |
And, finally, the waterfall! With 84m height, I was so impressed (I will save my money to visit Niagara for the next few years, lol).
So once upon a time, there was a newly-wed couple, Dewi Anjarwati from Kawi Mountain and Raden Baron Kusuma from Anjasmoro Mountain, on their 35th day of marriage (selapan in Javanese term), the wife asked to visit Anjasmoro Mountain, her husband place. But the idea was strictly forbidden by the wife's parent. In tradition, when selapan, married couple mustn't go anywhere. But the couple insisted to go even said they would take every risk. On their way, there come a man, Joko Lelono who fascinated by the beauty of Dewi Anjarwati and wanted to get her as his wife. It maddened Raden Baron Kusuma and challenged him for a fight. To his panakawan (servants in Javanese), Raden Baron Kusuma asked them to take his wife to a hidden place with a coban (waterfall in Javanese). Unfortunately the fight resulted the death for both men. While Dewi Anjarwati patiently waited for her returning husband until she became a rondo (widow in Javanese).
That's why the name called Coban Rondo, waterfall of a widow. There then comes 'Do not enter this with your girl/boyfriend!' lol. Do you believe it? I simply not. How come they'll curse unmarried couple where the actual folktales are talking about a real married one?
Anyway, if you happen to visit Malang, take a break for the crowd of the city by simply get in here and enjoy the fresh air and green trees.
My cute niece and me. |
See you!

Once upon a time in the Fairyland, there is a little human girl who unknowingly entered the fairyland. She didn't know why and how she got there, all she realized was.. Totally amazed. But, time after time, she felt so lonely, no one wants to be her friend because she's just a human and people are freaking out with her human size, and human appearance which just .. not normal. So on her 30th day being there, she prayed 'I want to be a fairy' and luckily, the godmother heard her wish and... She became one. Still no-name, and stil many things to learn.
She has a butterfly mark, encircling her violet eyes. They said, they will twirl more one she grows up, and be more colorful when she becomes wiser.
She wears a hood because she still couldn't fly. They say, she's still too young. Really? Is that acceptable?
She wishes to be a better one an gorgeous fairy someday, in the future. Right now, she's just a noob
Other fairies are just too beautiful, she hopes that they want to be friend with this new little one.
THE END
-----ooo-----
Hello there!
I'm trying to enter the 'Indonesian Beauty Blogger' Make Up Challenge (IBB MUC) February 2014 with theme "Fairy", I know that the story was somehow weird and my look doesn't that good also. But this is my first time to do a little drawing on my face so please bear with my randomness. Despite the oh-so-unbalanced eyebrow and the monochrome color which dominated with purple. Hope you enjoy my look and all the fussiness caused by my pictures.
Things I used:
1) Hada Labo Milk Moisturized
2) Viva Cream Cover
3) Etude House BB Cream
4) Maybelline powder
5) Wardah Hydrogloss - Glazing Plum
6) Urban Decay Primer Potion
7) Just Miss (local) eyeshadow palette
8) Viva eyeliner
9) Heartwarmer's falsies
10) Soft Lens from Fantasi Color - violet.
See you!
