The biggest mistake was I added too much egg, it ruined everything. But oh, well, practice makes perfect. I shall look for another chance to re-make it in the future. Recipe is from my mom.
Ingredients
1/2 kg potatoes
1 egg
Pepper
Salt
Garlic
1 tbsp cooking oil
Directions
1. Peel and fry the potatoes until the get soft
2. Mash the potato until smooth (this is definitely the hardest thing to do!)
3. Prepare the spices; combine garlic, pepper and salt in a blender or just crush it.
4. Mix the mash-potato and spices.
5. Once combined, mix with egg.
6. Form the dough into round flat, each.
7. Fry and ready to serve.
Another recipe from Resep Masakan wrote another version which we shouldn't peel the potatoes, and they boil the potatoes instead fry. What do you think?
